Growing up in Los Angeles  Melissa Solis has always wished to be a part of her community in some way. Los Angeles is full of vibrant people and opportunity around every corner. Melissa Solis is looking forward to putting her works out into the world and finally becoming a part of her home town’s culture.

Art has always been my number one form of expression. Art is my escape from reality though a lot of my pieces do have real life inspiration. My work comes out as a warped sense of life through my eyes: vibrant colors, wavy lines and texture. Organized chaos is the best way to describe my style. I do not set out to emulate any specific figure, shape, or scene; my subconscious picks up colors and movement of nature and I believe that is what my work ends up showing.
