Who We Are and Our Purpose

The Dreamweaverarts Organization was founded out of the creative energy of the independent arts. The very energy and inspiration which causes new ideas and discovery to emerge out of chaos. The world of the independent art is a world of trailblazers, inventors, free thinkers and explores. Where the imagination gives way to creativity and creativity gives way to thoughts and thoughts gives way to actions and actions give way to change. It is where artists are the defenders and sentries of the truth. Destroying the cloak of falsehoods. Yet the community of the independent arts is often smaller with smaller support. Showings, performances, media, productions, promotions, venues, distribution, and budgets are often lacking in funds than the mainstream entertainment. This is why we use Steve Job’s “Here’s To The Crazy Ones” because you have to be a little bit crazy to know all factors that are against you and yet you still try to persevere.

Dreamweaverarts is an non-profit independent cultural art organization which was designed to showcase artists and their expression. Featuring the arts in all its forms. We have three missions which are:

  • To invest in the creative potential of the community
  • Developing support for individual artists
  • Helping people and the community excel.

Dreamweaverarts is an organization that partners with individual artists. Dreamweaverarts is able provide opportunities that one might not have; creating a community benefit missed through meetings, workshops, lectures performances, showings, support and affordable sustainable community living. Dreamweaverarts strives for excellence in what it does and hope to show what is possible when a group comes together for one propose. Striving to create a community where under privileged, LGBTQ and at risk youth are capable of extraordinary transformation though teaching, learning, and evolving though experience.

It was in 2008 when I decided that I must fulfill my mother’s M. Elizabeth Pope vision of helping other artists. Slowly this vision has taking shape in the form of our multimedia website and organization; Dreamweaverarts, which was designed to help artists showcase their talents and artistic expressions.

The Dreamweaverarts Organization is but a drop in the bucket, a small stepping stone to something much bigger, as my vision is to one day form The Dreamweaver Artist Ranch dedicated to the sole purpose of encouraging and supporting the arts, underprivileged, LGBTQ and at risk youth along with experienced citizens. I envision creating a place that is both inspirational and spiritual, where one can draw strength and inspiration to create wonderful works of art. By helping artists create, develop, produce and then showcase their work, our artist’s ranch would not only help individual artists, but their surrounding communities.

Ultimately, my vision is to show the unbelievable magnitude and power of the arts to create both personal and social change.
