Slamdance & ArcLight Cinemas take Cinema Club Program Across the Country



The Slamdance Cinema Club will be expanding from Arclight Hollywood to include ArcLight Chicago! Both Hollywood and Chicago will host an upcoming series of award winners and audience favorites from Slamdance 2016. Two films will play in each city every month through 2016,

ArcLight Chicago will screen the film series featuring award winners and audience favorites from the Slamdance Film Festival such as Fursonas, Honey Buddies,  Art of the Prank, Los Punks, We Are All We Have, Chemical Cut, Hunky Dory, Dead Hands Dig Deep, and How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town will be screened as a part of the Slamdance Cinema Club.  With each screening will be followed by a filmmaker Q&A.

The series opens in March with “Fursonas” by Dominic Rodriguez (the 2016 Spirit of Slamdance winner), and “Honey Buddies” by Alex Simmons starring Flula Borg (“Pitch Perfect Two”) and David Giuntoli (“Grimm”), (winner of the 2016 Audience Award for Narrative Feature).
