Fresh from numerous live performances in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and Park City, UT, Honey Rose Records recording artist Peppina has announced an official showcase performance at the 2016. SXSW.   She’ll be performing at an official  2016 SXSW showcase at Stephen F’s Bar & Terrace at the InterContinental, Saturday, March 19, 11:00PM,  located at 701 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701. Earlier that day, at 12:40PM, Peppina will perform at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters at Lake Austin, located at 3825 Lake Austin Blvd, Austin, TX 78703.

Peppina started off 2016 as the first artist to ever perform at The 2016 Sundance Film Festival’s new Official Basecamp music venue. There, she opened for international rock star/classical pianist Yoshiki who was performing in support of his Sundance Award winning film “WE ARE X”.  She also performed four other showcases, some with longtime collaborators Motopony, as well as sang a tribute to Eagles frontman Glenn Frey for the entertainment industry lobby The Creative Coalition.

Peppina will be touring the States and after SXSW, Peppina has been invited by 202 Entertainment—the record label incubator inside American University, to play the AM Fest. It will take place at Woods-Brown Amphitheatre on the American University campus in Washington, DC on Saturday, March 26th alongside Sub Radio and Beya Likhari.

202 Entertainment and Honey Rose Records have entered into a marketing partnership to use their resources to market Peppina to the college audience.

“ Peppina came to AU’s recording studio to perform solo acoustic and the 202 group realized what an immense young talent she is and wanted to invest their time and energy to help the independent Honey Rose Records label to further establish their artist.”

“We’re all excited to have Peppina back at AU. I’m always blown away by how much Peppina has done musically, being the same age as us and I think the local crowd will respond the same way.”

Peppina is putting the finishing touches on her self-titled debut album due out this summer. The record’s producers include Charles Newman (Magnetic Fields, Motopony) , K-Kov (Keith Urban) and Justin Gray (Dirty Heads, Mariah Carey, Ryan Cabrera.)
