Writer and Director Kel Thompson’s independent feature film “The Terrible Adventure” is a delightfully sweet children’s film. “The Terrible Adventure” was the creative idea of Director Kel Thompson and his children. In the age of Greta Thunberg, “The Terrible Adventure” give gives a powerful message to children that there is nothing they can’t achieve. In the style James Albert Varney Jr’s Ernest P. Director Kel Thompson used his kids, Jackson (12) and Olivia (9) along with an array of award-winning comedians to play the various lead and supporting roles in “The Terrible Adventure” shot entirely in Palm beach, Florida.

When tasked with taking ‘action’ by an elementary teacher as a summer project, two bright, affluent and spoiled siblings, ‘Olivia’ and ‘Jackson’, face their Dad’s bankruptcy and parent’s divorce by attempting to win the most complicated contest of all time. Created by billionaire Billy Bob Branson (RON BEAU PHILLIPS), the contest is used to cultivate the world’s greatest talent to seed a special task force and head up a non-profit organization to address global issues such as climate change, pollution and world peace – with a cash prize of $1,000,000. The contest is initially designed for adults, however, the siblings are able to solve the first clue of the contest which opens the portal to the first of many of their wild adventures.
