Lacy Darryl Phillips aka THE UNCLE EARL, is an Award Winning Recording Artist, Songwriter, Producer, Actor, Radio Personality & DJ.

He has worked with recording artists, such as Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Vanessa Williams, Grace Jones, Sheena Easton, Peabo Bryson, CeCe Peniston, James Ingram, Lou Rawls, N.W.A. (Dr. Dre & Eazy-E), Jimmy Z.,and Lonnie Gordon. He is the Creator/Producer of The Ultimate Underground Experience Radio Show and President of Earl Hitz Records a NYC label created to embrace the sounds of house, dance, electronic pop, and funk music. The New “Paradise Garage Experience”.

Nationally acclaimed Teacher/Choreographer,Frank Hatchett,was very instrumental in shaping Lacy Darryl Phillips’s career as a consumate performer.Supplemented with a full scholarship to The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center before graduating High School, gave him all the tools he would need to be a front runner in his chosen fields.

Inspite of his busy schedule ,Lacy also finds the time to teach in Japan, Italy, Canada, Los Angeles and New York. Most recently he taught music altheatre workshops for The Debbie Allen Dance Academy (2004) and Towne Street Theatre Company. Many of his students have been winners on Ed McMahons “Star Search”and are performing with Major dance companies across the United States. He is also the President of Uncle Earl Productions, Inc. and was Associate Director of the Hinton Battle Theatre Labin, NewYork.
